About Us
Verida Health Solutions is a Nairobi-based consultancy firm founded by Benjamin Ongeri, a certified supply chain professional and registered pharmacist with over 15 years of experience in global health supply chain management.
Benjamin has led high-impact assignments across Sub-Saharan Africa under USAID, FCDO, and Gates Foundation-funded programs. Verida was born out of a need to provide agile, expert-driven solutions in a rapidly evolving donor landscape, offering clients a trusted partner for resilient and responsive health supply chain systems.

Our Experts

from Kenya, with over 20 years of experience in improving access to essential medicines in
East and Southern Africa. He is a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and has
provided strategic technical assistance to programs funded by Global Fund, USAID, and
FCDO, covering areas such as HIV/AIDS,tuberculosis, malaria, family planning, immunization, and neglected tropical diseases.
Benjamin has led significant initiatives like GHSC-PSM Namibia and Kenya’s KIPS and Afya Uwazi programs, focusing on strategic planning, capacity building, and third-party monitoring. He currently advises on procurement and supply management for Global Fund grants and has contributed to multi-country assessments on the implications of U.S. aid suspension under
DevPart. His expertise includes health product selection, procurement strategy,
warehousing, distribution operations, LMIS design, and risk-informed supply chain
strengthening. Benjamin holds degrees in pharmacy and logistics & supply chain
management.

He has extensive experience in developing funding proposals, technical strategies, operational plans, workplans and budgets; implementing and managing public health programs in HIV and TB treatment; and has worked in Kenya, Rwanda and Namibia in the private, public and non-governmental sectors.


Paul has held key roles at the American Institutes for Research, Social Impact, and IBTCI, where he led performance assessments and statistical analyses for multi-country projects. His technical expertise includes STATA, DHIS2, and survey methodologies such as LQAS and DHS.
He holds an MSc in Biostatistics from Harvard University, an MSc in Statistics from the University of Nairobi, and a BSc in Mathematics. He is also a Harvard Presidential Scholar and recipient of the John L. McGoldrick Fellowship. With a deep understanding of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, Paul continues to support organizations in designing robust M&E frameworks that drive impact and sustainability in health and humanitarian programs.
